Default Re: Tpms Vs Sealant ?

The TPMS is part of the valve stem so it should not need to be replaced. I have heard a couple stories where the spray got all backed up inside and killed it but pretty sure that is rare. If it doesn't need replacing the car doesn't need to be with it when they do the work (any tire place should be able to do it for you, no need to take it to the dealer unless you had some kind of warranty on the tires from them, or if you really like em I suppose) Even if they do have to replace it for some reason you should be able to take it home put it on and drive back up for the programming (could be wrong but don't think it has to be out of the wheel for program)

BTW, Same thing happened to me, only realized the inner wall was blown out when the white goo started blowing all over the side of the road lol. Worst part of the whole thing was having to buy 2 new PS2s for the back
