Alright, so I picked up a relatively high mileage (58k) SRT-6 recently for around $13k. These forums have been a great resource so far, but I had some questions that maybe some can answer:
1) What are your experiences with the various bolt-on's regarding warranty issues? I picked up a Code 3 pulley and a Needswings CAI. I'm sure they'd have an issue with the pulley (which is a quick swap from what I can tell), but has anyone had issue with dealers and a CAI swap?
2) On the Code 3 Pulley: Mine didn't seem to come with a set of spacers as indicated in the install guide (that I could only find on this site - thanks). I noticed some other people who purchased recently weren't getting the spacers as well. Is this an issue, or did they just re-engineer it so it really doesn't need them anymore?
3) Does anyone have an idea to the life expectency of the supercharger, or other sensitive systems? With my mileage (around 61k now), what should I keep a lookout for?
4) On emissions: How bad is it with the Code 3/NW CAI combo? Would an ECU tune hurt or help in that regard? Will it run rich or lean (I've heard both so far, it seems)?
5) With the Tranny: Occasionally it gets hung up in first gear on a strong launch (traction control is off), and I have to back off a moment (1/2 second perhaps) for it to get its bearings. Is this somewhat normal behavior from these trannies in your experiences?
