Under "spirited driving", the tranny will stay in gear and hold it until
it feels is the best time to shift. If you want to make it go into the next gear, you can bump the shifter over and override.
It is odd at first, but once you get used to it you grow to really appreciate this transmissions in these cars.
Thanks because I thought something was wrong with my tranny.....I would smash it to almost redline and would have to let up until tranny shifted. Really didnt like getting out of it. So keeping it floored will not hurt tranny?
