i briefly looked into led for headlights. i don't think they have the illumination. even in the comparison pic i saw with halogen, they looked dimmer, though whiter. hid is much brighter. i have converted my lows to hid but i am still looking for a solution for the highs and fogs to give me the white appearance of my 4300K hids. i don't just want appearance, i need performance as well and when i say performance i mean visibility and durability (lifespan).
