I don't understand the ABS issue. In your manual, it is recommended to use 18" wheels on the rear with snow tires.

Go on e-bay, buy a couple of 18" wheels, call your local tire center and buy 4 18" snow tires (I bought Dunlops), have them mounted, and put some weight in the trunk. You will be good to go for most weather....

There are no cars I am aware of that come with snow tires.

Especially rear drive sports cars!
