Howard, like any used car with miles on it, there will be maintenance. Since you don't know if any maintenance has been done, just have your mechanic do the usual once over. He will know what to look for. At this point, I would spend the money to have the tranny serviced, brake fluid, and whether you think the oil is good or not, change the oil. All this is for your enjoyment of the car...fluids is the life blood of any car...and if you aren't 100% sure, then change them...cheap investment...
