Thanks for a great post mrobinso, I just ordered a spare from autohausaz.com today. From what I've read when this part fails it will not set any fault codes, the computer can't see the flywheel trigger points, and does not know when to fire spark plugs or injectors. The whole motor just shuts down. It typically only occurs when vehicle is hot, and the vehicle will restart after is cools. With the failure being so random and without warning, what do you guys recommend for replacement. I've got about 55k on my 04 Limited now and would hate to be stranded unexpectedly.
