I was at the Barrett-Jackson auction in West Palm Beach back in April and found most of the cars to be rather disappointing. Until this gorgeous, beautifully restored 1965 Austin-Healey 3000 MK III crossed the block at $100k. Kurt Tanner, a specialist restorer of big Healeys, did the work and finished it beautifully in California Sage Green with linen colored leather interior. Stunning in every detail, and I was instantly smitten. Then again, I've a warm spot in my heart for older Euro sports cars.
