There are jack points just behind the front wheels and in front of the rear wheels. I use a sponge and scrunch up my hand to clean the rims, but always end up with little cuts.

What I found helps...at least once a year I remove the wheels and clean them thoroughly. Meguiars tire/rim cleaner works real well to get tar and brake dust off. Once they are clean, I compound the inside of the rims to smooth and clean them further, then I put two coats of Turtle Wax on the rims. (I use better carnuba base on the car.) With the wax, most dirt washes off with a high pressure hose and sponge cleaning is easier.
