OMG! Duhh. With the new iPhone update they finally enabled stereo Bluetooth which since I have the bluetooth module for my Alpine I can play music from the phone. Just tried it and sounds great!! Which means I'm taking off that eye-sore of a bracket and hiding just the mount with the swivel plate in the glove box or center console!
