Interesting... Not that I trust data published in magazines these days, but the SRT-6 tested in Car & Driver was substantially slower than the SLK32 AMG they tested a few years back. For example, the SRT-6 was tested in the August 04 issue and went 0-100 in 12.4 seconds and 0-140 in 29.0 seconds. The SLK32 AMG did 0-100 in only 10.6 seconds and 0-140 in 22.9 back in the August 01 issue. Pretty big difference for only 19 horsepower, especially when both cars have the same gearing, similar curb weights, etc... Weird.
