Nope, it's just one of those many things that are supposed to be done and checked and set when the car enters the country and is being prepped for delivery to the dealer. All the dealer does is spit shine the car and hold his hand out for your wallet... LOL
The blame goes to the prep facility that receives the car off the ship... The knuckleheads at the dealership wouldn't know how to re-set your service computer until they read the manual... Your best bet is just do it yourself and you won't have to wait around for two hours while they read the instructions...
If the prep facility missed that small set-up, I would look at everything else very closely... The dealership should have caught that, but they really don't pay attention to squat and most of their service people just read the repair manual when there is a problem... That's why they won't let you into the service area when thy're working on your car... They don't wan't you to see them read the instructions while you're being charged $65.00 per hour...
