We talk to a huge number of car guys, both on the phone and at car shows, and there is a particular vehicle who's owners are, by and large, complete tools. Not all of them, obviously, as I personally know a few guys who own this particular car, but a higher percentage than normal are of the belief that their car is truly something special and unique in all the world, that they deserve special attention, and they are somehow better than the rest of us.

I won't mention the specific car, but you could ask ANYONE here at work "who's the nuttiest/wackiest/least rational group out there and, without hesitation, EVERYONE would give the same answer.
