I looked in vain for some of that extra-thick clear tape that is used to prevent paint from rubbing off. I ended up just putting strips of celophane tape on the body where the rubber stops hit. I have to replace it every now and again, but it keeps the paint from taking the brunt off the force from the rubber stops.
