I had/have the first custom built TC for a 6 and it does feel a little different and more "snappy" on the street it yields no gains so far at the track(that have been proven by me or anybody else). There was also a lot of hype about some peoples' "custom super modded TCs that'll knock .5 seconds off your 1/4 et" that have never been talked about again since actually being installed in a car. I don't know about you..........but if I had a product that could actually do what I claimed it could do(once it was actually built)...........I would let you know with some nice timeslips and customer endorsements. I don't know how to explain it but custom TCs don't seem to do anything in a M-B vehicle, maybe it has to do with the ECU/TCU getting pissed off and telling it not to perform any better.
