not to butt in, but this is the first time I have seen this info...I have a friend, retired mechanical engineer from Allison Transmission. Designed M1A1 tank trannies. He is a consultant for Jasper Transmission in Jasper IN right now. If you could give me all the particulars on our little trannies, I could have him research what they could do for us. He spent time in Germany working on their tanks as well, so he may have connections to someone over there as well. I have always wanted a quicker, more firm shirt out of my vert, so I would love to help on this...
