Apologies if I miss led anyone with the date of the car. It is the date of registration which is in March 2007, so I'd guess that it will be a late 2006 build. I'll double check this when I pick the car up and let you all know
Thanks to you guys, and the forum as a whole, my knowledge of the car is improving (as is my 'want list' of mods!).
I'll post some pictures on the forum when I collect the car, which all being well should be Wednesday/Thursday this week.

Damian, congratulations, welcome, and good luck. FYI The VIN will reveal the year built, colr etc. A decal inside the Driver's Door (US) will also show the day, month and hour.
Factory warranty 3yr 36,000 mile in US starts with the date placed in service. Check the expiration date on your tire fit. It should be replaced by warranty if expired.
