first of all im not disrespecting your car. but im very protective of the amg label. and for what its worth your car is NOT an amg. only mercedes benz cars can be labeled amg. the door sills gages floormats drivline body styling wheels and so much more go into the making of an amg car.
i have searched all over and noone can confirm the motor in a srt-6 is a hand built motor from amg. yes the block and internals are from the amg line but handbuilt in the amg factory? no one knows.after the 2002 model yr all amg motors were signed by the builder. if the 05-06 motors you have were hand built wouldnt they be signed? as for it being built along side the amg32 the 32 ceased production in 2004. the srt6 came out in 2005 using the leftover parts from the 32 due to amg using a normally aspirated v8 in the slk55 amg
consider this, putting a z06 engine and driveline in a chevrolet does not make it a vette.
so if putting amg stickies onyour car makes you happy go ahead but realize its a crysler NOT a benz amg
