I have a SSB and left the diffusers black (or charcoal - whatever color they were when they arrived). I debated painting them but when I temporarily tried them out I liked them the original color. Plus I don't have to worry about rocks being thrown up and chipping the paint. When I detail the car I always put a coat of Meguiar's Hyperdressing on them to keep them looking new.
