Twice I've had young kids pull up next to me at a stop light in older cars that the have obviously been modified. They are very proud and sure of their "ride". After much reving the engine, glancing my way and meaningful nodding, the light turns green. And off they go...about 2 feet, when they stall the car!
As I pass at normal speed, I am seriously laughing out loud, which I'm sure didn't make their day any better.
I have a good one, didn't happen in my xf, but still funny. I was riding with my girl one night in her 07 VW Rabbit, 2 dr, 2.5L, six speed tiptronic. we pull up at a stoplight on a six lane. we're in the inside lane, no one in the middle, and an rx8 in the outer lane. he looks over, guess he was thinking it was a gti, and when the light goes green stomps it. My girl stomps it too and actually stayed beside him until we turned off. if we had kept going she would have passed him. the look on his face was priceless.
