Default Crossfire break in period

Manual says to take it easy for the first 1000 miles, gonna be tough to do. Had it on the interstate this morning and it just wants to go. Kept it at 70 though with occasional trips through 75 as I have less than 200 miles on it. Proper break in requires moderate acceleration varying speeds and easy on the brakes. Newer cars are less likely to require a break in period, but a new engine still is very tight and surfaces need to wear in properly. Mine has a Mobil 1 (synthetic oil) sticker on it, so the factory must be using it as a break in oil, but I have read that this stuff is so good, an engine might not wear in correctly. Any comments?
