This is what they look like, they are .13" thick (1/8") and the wrench opening is .400" (10mm)
If you can find a cheapo wrench of these sizes at a auto or bicycle shop you are in business. A 3/8" (.375") wrench could be filed easily to the correct size. Bicycles used to have wrenches like this in a tool kit.
Drivers of convertibles should have one for sure, anyone else can use a screwdriver for the auto transmission release and the front grille removal.
