Moral of the story, most people buy cars to get looks and "attaboys" from other enthusiasts. But much as the murders lose their sting on the 10:00 news, the Vettes and 370's lose their "wow factor" after about the 100th sighting. They're nice, and they're fast. But they're also trite.
I feel "wow factor" every time I drive my Vette. Xfire is a neat, rare car, but I don't miss it a bit.
