Re: Interior Detailing
Hey!!!
As a detailing freak I have to be frank and say that I'd hate to even think about using the windshield washer fluid. It contains aggressive chemicals that will strip your wax. Furthermore, moving your wiper blades on a dirty windshield will scratch your glass. I'd pull over and wipe your windshield with a glass cleaner or quick detailer. But that's just me. I remember when I had my Crossfire the windshield washer fluid tank mysteriously got a hole in it...so I could never use that feature! I was actually happy!!
As for interior cleaning, well, I think that it is an easier job (mostly requiring only a spraying of the product, aggitation, then wipe-off of product) so I never posted a very detailed write-up about it. I will like to mention Meguire's All In One Interior Cleaning (it's a concentrate) because it is so versatile. I can use it on every surface on the interior of the Crossfire. Carpets may require multiple applications, and it can effectively remove most stubborn stains if allowed to sit and dwell.
One bit of WARNING though...Make sure any dilution of Meg's All In One Interior Cleaner stays AWAY from WINDOWS!!! I got some overspray on the windshield and didn't notice it until it was baked into the windshield and I was NEVER able to get the specs off with any of my chemical removers. So just be carefull.
