Not an expert either but I know this body style was used from 1963 to 1967, and as far as I remember the 1967's were the only year with this hood scoop (called a stinger) and were only on the big block (427) cars but the engine was available in 3 or 4 horsepower variations. 1967 was also the 1st year for the corvette rally wheels.
