1. The horns are mounted on the right and left sides, under the new filters. They were there before the mod to increase air to the radiator.
2. I also did not change out the factory transmission line cooling line. I slid it back on the left and put a new mounting hole about an inch further back. With a tweek of the line the filter sits in there pretty nicely with only a minor interference. The passenger side was easier to just put a 3 inch bracket in to move it further back and completely clear the filter and not touch the radiator.
I also took the opportunity to install a air dam between the bumper and the LET HE (a la BrainBrave).
As soon as the golf is over I will take it for a spin and see how it all works. Since I had the SL55 intake on before, I dont expect a great improvement. But maybe a little. It does open up the engine bay more. Maybe I will get a little better cooling. 
Man with the super-cooler, dual intakes, and horns there's practically NO air hitting my radiator.
Could you show pics and describe (in detail) where and how you mounted your horns? THANKS IN ADVANCE!
