I say take some brasso and a 0000 steel wool and work it in really hard for a full 5 minutes ensuring all the dark soot is removed from the metal. Then use never dull and work that in for another full five minutes. Then, wipe clean with multiple clean cloths. Then use klasse all in one. Finally, take a clean cloth and wipe clean again...you will thank me later.
