I always start with an LC orange pad and work softer with the glaze, sealer then wax. Our Crossfire's have very hard clear-coat. This vehicle demands more aggressive techniques to remove swirls because soft pads will not have an effect on the clear-coat. Make sure to test in a small area first. If its not working you can use a more aggressive pad or compound. A kit with an orange, white, black, and blue pads should get you started.

Make sure your 7424XP kit has a Hook & Loop Backing Plate, you'll need it to attach the pads.
