Default Re: The axe fell

Ok, Ok! Pushy people! I do title abstracts for the title insurance industry. My firm has over 40 years experience in the local market. I was informed that the axe murderer fired 8 people with over 30 years experience each from my former client on Friday. (Mexican national that I'm told was brought in to upgrade the computer systems. WTF is she doing messing with what has worked for 40 years?) An american company bought controlling share of the title insurance company I do work for in 2002, if memory serves me correctly. (can't remember for sure and I'm not going to check as we speak) Apparently the U.S. operations are loosing so much money that they are trying to maximize profits where they exist. Unfortunately for this nameless company, the children they are employing will be their undoing. You never, never take any risk, no matter how small in this business. I have 50 contacts for monday. My only problem is I specialize in the San Juan metro area. To be successful in winning clients I will have to expand Island wide or subcontract. I have the names and numbers of reliable professionals with Professional Indemnity Insurance but intend to do as much as possible with my people that I know and trust. And you know what? I'm confident enough that I'm ordering my Pilot Sport Cup tires next week for my Crossfire. I WILL NOT FAIL! Thanks for having patience with my livid rant. My only regret is doing everything in my power over the last few years for this company to survive. Now I'm convinced they will fail in the next few years. They have released every single professional that helped the company become No. 1 in Puerto Rico.
