I'd bet money that the needswings intake would make at least an additional 12hp. not only does it remove the restrictive stock intake it also removes the maf housing which is full of honey comb type crap that restricts airflow.
Also the filter is isolated from the engine bay in the front grill and gives you the best access to outside air.
