I was at the dealer here in MN and started up some Crossfires on the lot to listen to them. They all sounded just like mine -- not to quiet. I am used to a supercharger whine, so maybe I hear things that are normal, but at least the cars on the lot were the same.

Essentially, it appears to be a fair amount of lifter noise and accessory pulley noise.
