This "Private Property" crap is one of the more interesting things I've found since moving to Alabama. I don't understand it, and never will. If he had hit a child, would it be different?

Sorry this happened to you, but it seems to me folks in this state don't care for their own cars and even less for others. The term "flap-fendered POS" was invented here.

Wait until you have to dodge a flying piece of bumper cover when the duct tape lets loose on the interstate. I did.

Just for fun, search lawdata and read the vehicle safety laws for Alabama.

There are none. Tail lights (1). Stop lamp (1). Tread depth-no law on the books. It was repealed some years ago when the ACLU argued that it discriminated against the poor.

Wisconsin and snow really looks good most days...
