Needed and bought a new battery today. Firestone/coupon deal, but when we got there to pick this one up:
Interstate Mega-Tron Plus #MTP-H6,
10.94" x 6.88" x 7.5", this has the correct post positions. No spacer required. Side vent. Double handles. White case, 640CCA, 800CA, 72 Ah, reserve capacity (RC) 121 minutes, weight 46 lbs. is now black, not a white plastic. Otherwise everything was exactly like it should have been. It is not the MTP-91 which is slightly smaller and black. It may be that they have changed the housing color.
Update on battery----
Interstate was not real upfront about what they sold us, it may have been just fine but the lack of honesty or clarity or how ever you nicely say it - I wouldn't buy from them if He11 froze over. The hassle just to get the right one, can only image what getting service from them would be like. No thank you.
