Wow, that sounds like something NO ONE would have thought about! Are you both comfortable in the car together? How does it ride? Besides the blowout, does it feel, and handle ok when you're driving it?
Be sure to let us know what you find out, because that doesn't sound like a very resonable load limit for a car. With 2 people in it, even if they were of "normal" weight, there wouldn't be much left over for gear. The trunk is small but not THAT small!
