ok im having problems getting my c3 pulley on. i hope jake or someone with a c3 can answer this question.
i have 3 oem shims and 2 shims provided by jake with the c3. the total thickness of the 5 shims are 1.60 mm the depth of the oem pulley is 25.02 and the depth of the c3 is 25.82 mm respectfulley . that is a difference of .80 mm just to get the c3 level were the oem was. then add .20mm to .30 mm as instructed in the c3 directions im looking at a total of .100mm to .110 mm to space it properly!
with the 5 shims i already have i need to add another .60 mm to .70 mm to c get this right. thats approx 7 to 10 shims! that sounds excessive to me. what am i doing wrong?
