You only use 1 - 3 shims depending on your spacing. It needs to be as close as possible without rubbing. You could either use code3's or stock or a combination of the two.
i dont think im explaining it correctly steve. i have 5 shims in place with a thickness of 1.60 mm and im rubbing the pulley on the s/c clutch. with the measurements i have taken i need another .100 mm of shims to space it properly for a total of approx 10 shims. way excessive.
