Depending on when the pulley was made, I have seen a huge variance of shim thickness needed from the 5 C3 pulleys I have installed. When I got my own pulley from Brandon, it came with 3 more stock thickness shims and 2 thick shims. I had to use a total of .80 mm of shims and had no problems for the few hundred miles I used it till I went 181mm.
