Depending on when the pulley was made, I have seen a huge variance of shim thickness needed from the 5 C3 pulleys I have installed. When I got my own pulley from Brandon, it came with 3 more stock thickness shims and 2 thick shims. I had to use a total of .80 mm of shims and had no problems for the few hundred miles I used it till I went 181mm.
that makes me feel a bit better. im going to try to call brandon mon and see what i can get in the form of shims to make this work. more than willing to return any unused shims, but i really want to try the c3 before tearing into my stock pulley. im sure you are aware i got my c3 from jake so im confident its in good shape. i cant find any inconsistincies in the measurements of the pulley with the exception of the shims needed to get proper spacing
