Default SLK Manual Leather Seats

Hi all.

I've been looking at a lot of threads about seat swaps from base model cloth/manual seats to limited leather/power seats. I'm very interested in this kind of swap because one of the worst parts about my wife's roadster is the cloth seats.

Two problems:

One is that the passenger seat is missing a critical adjustment that the driver seat has, which is the ability to angle the bottom cushion. The passenger side seat cushion is fixed at a rather flat angle, and is very uncomfortable on long trips. If you recline the back, it feels like you are sliding out the front.

the other problem is that the seat backs are too narrow for me since I have a wide back. My shoulders and lats sit on top of the bolsters, rather than inside, which I believe is a common problem. I never could understand who they designed this car for, some kind of tall, skinny, vegan from europe (with a short torso).

Anyhow, I was looking at the limited seats to at least get more adjustment out of the passenger seat, but now I see a set of MB SLK leather seats on Ebay, and they appear to both have lower seat cushion adjustment that only the driver seat has on my wife's car. Does anyone have any experience with these seats to know if this is true? And also, is there any chance they have more space between the bolsters than the Crossfire seats?

Thanks!
