Bingo.

I've experienced bad drivers in ever make, every model. Certain soccer moms in their gigantic vans are just as annoying as the Scion guys that think they're driving a Bimmer.

I've met many Vette owners and 911 owners that have more class than many I've seen on this board. The only time I have issues with the drivers of premium cars is when it's a driver that has had the car given to them, and doesn't appreciate it. But, my beef is with the driver's state-of-mind and entitlement, not the car itself.

Sour grapes make everything seem sour. Acknowledging the other guy is ample compensation for him to keep digging. If he gets results, he'll keep doing what he knows best.

My daily driver is an old Buick. All but invisible on the road... people simply aren't impressed. Nor are they offended. As a result, that car is driven in peace daily.

My truck, on the other hand, gets an even split of "thumbs-ups" and bitter folks swerving around it and cutting me off.

What's the difference? The truck is flashy. Looks fast (it isn't). But it evokes sour grapes. No one is jealous of the Buick, on the other hand. Yet I'm the same man behind the wheel of both.

Wear a suit to the mall. Then, wear fatigues. Then, wear gothic apparel.

You'll be the same man each time, but the results will shock you in how you're treated differently. No matter what you wear, some will love you, some will despise you; but all will have an opinion.

Ignore 'em. Just be comfy in your own skin and move along.
