I have a WRX and bought a blow off valve that was quite. I hate it but my stock one would not hold 25#'s of boost. My WRX runs 12.2's in the 1/4 mile and I drive it all the time. To me it's a bad *** car that runs very well in the rain or dry.
you should hear the one on my hhr ss, it sounds like crap lol. it sounds like a combination between a bird giving its last dying chirp as it is being chopped up in a fan and your belt slipping lol.
