long story short... I work at Best Buy and while pulling out the radio to install something, I happened to scratch the radio because the keys did not lock in place. for this scratch, the customer has made a huge deal out of it and wants a new unit, and we all know that this unit does not go for cheap. i have to submit a claim under my name and the dealership wants like.. $2800 for the stereo. i even managed to find it cheapest at $1800 + shipping, but the price is unbelievable for such small damage, and i want to keep the claim as cheap as possible.
here is a picture of the radio from the customer's 2005 Crossfire SRT-6. I hope you guys could help me out and find a direct drop in for a lot cheaper. the damage is on the lower right corner around the seek sign by the say. the customer was not okay with getting touchup paint or having a company fix the damage/repaint so he said he wanted a new unit.
