Those darn tops can be finicky. Try cycling the wing a few times, open and close the truck lid, and double-jiggle the partition again while closely studying the little switch arrangement.

I doubt if anything is amiss. A lot of engineering went into the top's workings, and all of the limit switching and stops need to be just so. But so frustrating. As a last resort, the top can be operated manually. You'll need a particular tool to manipulate the locking mechanisms and the instructions set forth in the manual.
