This is a form of ram-air to feed the motor, being in front of the radiator is a bit of a high pressure area, better and cooler than behind it anyway. Should be able to see a gain but NOT ON A DYNO as you have no dynamic air motion-----stick your hand out the window at 50 MPH to feel the air pressure "force".
I have been needing to actually measure the pressure gain, Idd try to get to doing that, though it will be only an inch or two of water column pressure.
First thought for me is the phrase " Bird Strike"
