Re: c3 question
just a quick update for jake and anyone else interested. i finally got in contact with brandon and found out the spacers for the pulley are rear differential spacers. so i went to a couple shops to get some shims and had no luck! most shims were 29 mm id and the s/c shaft needs 32 mm id. so brandon sent me 2 shims and a new bearing for my oem to keep as a spare.
short story long my pulley is on!!! i needed 1.1 mm worth of shims to get .40mm clearance from the clutch. i would like a little closer spacing but any closer touches. needless to say im super impressed! ive burned the tires launching now sideways thru 2 gears! torque monster is an understatement.
thanx to all who gave great advice. thanx to jake for cutting me a great deal and putting me in a new mod level!. lets go to the dragway in oct!
