As explained to me at Woodward, our cars do not have a pcv valve, but a pcv system. It works the same way, but our engines/ecm must be able to compensate for the vacuum leak without the PCV valve.

Even with a PCV valve, you will suck oil, gas, and moisture vapors thru the system, that is what it is made for. The valve won't stop that.
