re: What made you buy your Crossfire
I have admired the Crossfire since I first saw it on Chrysler's website a a long time ago and really wanted one when I first saw a coupe on the way to Colorado Springs. It's styling is quite unique, not to mention the limited production.
I test drove a coupe over two years ago and the comptroller (wife) said NO. Since I like peace in my household, I always let the wookie (Star Wars reference) win.
Fast forward to February 2008. My wife and I are at lunch and the Chrysler dealership was right across the street and of course they had a few XF's out front. I test drove a red coupe and it was all over after that. The wife gave in. I changed over to a roadster later in 2008 and have no regrets.
I guess the main thing about the car I like is that I get so many looks from people when I drive around town. It is hard to say if they are wondering what it is and hopefully not "why are you driving that?" look.
