Re: More Dealership Non-sense-- Crossfire Buyer special treatment?
I believe we were entitled to a premium loaner car as Crossfrie owners. That said the "premium" loaner I got was a PT Cruiser one time and a mid line sedan the other time. I didn't complain, was glad to have something to drive for the day. I guess the thing to keep in mind is all dealerships are different. There's one around my area that offers free service for the life of the car, some offer loaners, some don't. I always ask the salesman when I am inquiring about buying a car. My wife has an 04 Mercedes we bought used 2 years ago. The dealership is about an hour from us and they were great about loaners when the car was in for service. We'll I priced a service at my local Mercedes dealer, a 20 minute drive and it was a few bucks more but the service manager told me if I needed a loaner all I had to do was let him know so we have now switched dealerships for service only because of the distance involved. Like I said all dealers are different. I'd almost bet you could find another Jeep dealer who would give you a loaner.
