Default re: What made you buy your Crossfire

The crossfire had caught my eye here or there for awhile but I never actually did any reading on it. My daily driver got t-boned when someone ran a red light at 40mph and was totalled. I got a rental for about a week while I looked for a new car visited a couple of lots and was going to pickup an alero as my new dd for cheap and heading out to the dealership I saw a kid that must have been 16-17 head bopping with his windows rolled down in a crossfire which about made me sick. I got to the dealership and they didn't have the car on the lot anymore so they'd have to transfer it and I had noticed an alabaster white out front row in the lot. Said what the heck and went to take a look at it. Opened the door and saw the red interior and I was hooked right there and then. After the test drive on I-65 I was in heaven. I told myself I deserved it and haven't ever regretted it since.

If I ever have to be reminded of how much fun the crossfire is I think back to a couple of months after I got mine. I was driving on the interstate back to my office from Nashville and noticed a red crossfire zooming up behind me in the lane to my right. As he came up beside me I looked over mostly just to watch it pass but to my surprise it had slowed down just to match my speed in traffic so we could share a head nod.

Much respect Crossfire Owners.
