I wish we didn't have so much division as Americans. The fact that we seem to work together best during a catastrophe tells me we are not that bad of a people. We just tend to forget. I remember people telling me they were going to church right after 9-11, yet now they stopped going. We do tend to forget.......

I keep praying for our leadership regardless of who's in office. Afterall I want them to be succesful for our sake, and that of the world.

I know what your saying. I agree with your comments on the American people and it really is a shame how quickly and easily we forget. I also agree with your comment on Mr. Bush, I don't believe you meant it in any type of malicious manner, just an observation. However I feel the need to stand by my comment, even though it was more of an off handed jab. I believe each person in a leadership position will react differently based on what he/she wants to accomplish. As far as the current leader I have two close and trusted friends that know him personally. Based on things that I will not discuss here is why I feel the need to stand by my comment/jab.
FP if you think my comment should be deleted based on the thread that it's in you are more than welcome to delete it or let me know and I'll edit it out. It is in a bit of poor taste to make that comment in a thread to remember 9/11 but I don't want to edit it out now and leave holes in the thread especially when there was quotes done on it, it makes things a little confusing.
